 Dr. Mary Kay Clark This years talk: "Surviving as a Catholic Home Schooling Mother"
Synopsis: Many aspects of daily life are challenging, but some are even more challenging for the Catholic home schooling Mother. Dr. Clark will discuss how to meet the desires for a solid Catholic spiritual life, how to keep control of the mental stress of disciplining our children, how to keep the house in order to reduce the frustration of disorder, how to teach the children how to learn, how to keep control of outside activities, how to stay healthy, and last but not least, how to keep your marriage healthy.
Bio: Dr. Mary Kay Clark has been the director of Seton
Home Study School since 1982. Besides being a frequent speaker at home education and family
conferences, Dr. Clark is also a frequent guest on radio and television
programs. She has written many articles on home schooling, and has authored
the best-selling book, "Catholic Home Schooling: A Handbook for Parents".
Dr. Clark is the mother of seven children, all of whom she has educated at home, and who are teaching their own children at home. She and her husband, Bruce, have been blessed with 34 grandchildren! |
